They are not particlarly complex cymbals though. They are very glassy, reaching their peak volume quickly (as the name suggests) before a quick decay. And this was over many days against many different cymbals. And I asked many customers in shops that were walking by, from seasoned drummers to their girlfriends who were not drummers, and not a single person said differently. It might be too large for you, but I've tried out too many crash cymbals to count (Zildjian, Paiste and Sabian) and by far the 20 in AAXplosion cymbal sounded the best. The 18 in HHX stage crash has its own character and is a nice cymbal. I put a HHXplosion up against the AAXplosion of the same size and couldn't really tell a difference (and neither could anyone else). If the 20in is too large, the AAXplosion series is really good.
